Deposits of non-resident Indians (NRIs) in Indian banks have doubled because of the high-interest rates and a stable rupee. According to the latest Reserve Bank of India (RBI) data, new inflows under various non-resident deposit schemes increased to $6.1 billion in April-October 2023 from $3.05 billion in the same period the previous year.
